WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT POLICY?

A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm a booking.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT? 

In order to reserve and confirm the booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance being due 70 days (10 weeks) prior to arrival. A £250 refundable Damage Deposit is automatically refunded within 7 days of your departure.

You are able to pay by credit card or via BACS transfer to our building society account. Please note, that HomeAway and TripAdvisor have a "service fee" which we are unable to waive if you chose to pay to HomeAway or Tripadvisor directly using their credit card facility; however, we offer you the option to pay us directly, should you wish to avoid the service fee.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

If you cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges apply:

  • Cancellations made after paying the deposit and prior to the due date for paying the balance of the rental, the deposit is forfeited in full and is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made after paying the deposit and balance of rental due that are made prior to the specified arrival date: 100% of the full booking price is forfeited and is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation after your stay commences or early departure does not entitle you to any refund.
  • If, in the unlikely event, we, the Owners, cancel your booking for reasons other than Force Majeure (as detailed in the booking contract), we will refund all monies already paid to us. 
  • Please ensure that you have adequate insurance in place to cover any such non-refundable cancellation eventualities.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE COVID GUARANTEE?

While we normally operate a no-refund policy for bookings, relative to Covid, we want you to be able to book with confidence and offer you either i) a full refund or ii) forward your holiday to another date (subject to additional charge/refund should date change impact the cost of stay), upon presentation of appropriate evidence that:

  1. Your airline cancelled your flight because The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FDCO), on behalf of the UK Government, or from The Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Greek Government, imposed travel restrictions due to Covid 19 in either in the UK or Greece;
  2. Or, if you are unable to travel because the FDCO or Greek authorities imposed travel restrictions or a lockdown affecting either the United Kingdom or Greece.
  3. However, please note that this refund policy does not apply to guests who chose to be non-vaccinated, should any government issued travel restrictions be related to mandated proof of compulsory vaccination or a so-called vaccine passport requirement.

DO YOU REQUIRE A BREAKAGE DEPOSIT?

There is a refundable £250 breakage deposit which will be refunded to you within 7 days of departure provided there have not been any damages as per the rental agreement.

WHAT IS THE VILLA'S MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY? 

In order to comply with our insurance, licensing, health and safety regulations, the maximum occupancy of the villa is two (2) adults. Please note that exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in eviction by the owners, their agents or local law enforcement agencies.

WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH THE VILLA RENTAL? 

  • Cleaning service mid-week (in addition to the changeover clean). Additional cleans can be organized for an additional charge prior to your arrival, subject to maintenance staff availability.
  • All linen including towels for use by the pool and on the beach.
  • Electricity & water, air-conditioning /Heating.
  • Change of bed linen and towels (except pool towels) at the mid-week clean.
  • Emergency call-out service for maintenance or service issues.
  • Hair Dryer
  • Toilet Rolls + a starter pack in the kitchen with a few dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and sponge
  • Welcome pack with kitchen basics to get you started and some specialty Kefalonian products including olive oil and honey.


IS THERE INTERNET ACCESS? 

Villa Eros is equipped with wireless "high-speed" broadband, which is provided by the Greek telephone company, OTE. Please note that Villa Eros is located in a rural location and, as such, internet service can be erratic, at times.

In the event of an internet problem, we are happy to direct you to a number of locations within Skala Town which provide free wi-fi and can serve as a stop-gap should you experience a problem during your stay but we are unable to accept liability for any lack of access to the internet which may occur during your stay because of unexpected technical, weather-related or any other related issues.

WHAT TV CHANNELS ARE PROVIDED?

There is a TV with service provided by NOVA Cable TV and channel selection is based upon a European/Greek market. Please be aware that some English and US channels should not necessarily be expected. We cannot guarantee that service will be constant throughout your stay as the TV service is based on telephony based cabling and it is subject to the same issues surrounding internet service. As a consequence, we cannot be held liable for any lapse in service. More information about channel listings can be found on the web link listed for Nova Satellite.gr.

DO YOU HAVE A SMOKING POLICY? 

In order to provide a more pleasant and healthier environment for our non-smoking guests and those with allergies, Villa Eros, is smoke and “vape” free zone indoors. Please feel free to smoke on the patio but take care to dispose of any unused smoking material responsibly.
